The repairs and maintenance of your home is looked after by our dedicated technical and property services team, known as TaPs for short.

About TaPs
We employ 16 office staff, a mixture of surveyors, repairs and general administration staff, and 21 trades staff covering all of the main building related skills. We also have an active apprenticeship scheme.
We are responsible for the building and grounds maintenance to our homes and communal areas. We look after your home by providing:
* Response repairs
* Grounds maintenance
* Technical support and advice
* Empty property repairs
* Planned maintenance such as roofing, chimneys, windows, external doors, kitchens, bathrooms, heating, electrical
* Cyclical maintenance such as the external redecoration of our properties, heating servicing, electrical checks, smoke alarm tests, lift maintenance, fire alarm testing
We spend over £4 million a year on maintenance as a whole and we have a 5 year rolling programme of re-surveying all of our properties to ensure the plan for replacement and improvement is accurate and up-to-date.
Our aim is to provide high standard homes for our residents, incorporating all of the minimum standards set out by the Tenant Services Authority, and to ensure we continue to maintain our homes in an effective manner. |
