Our role in local communities
As a community-based housing association, we work very closely with district and parish councils, statutory and voluntary agencies, and community groups in all areas of our activity across Somerset and Devon.
Our principle role is to provide good quality affordable homes to rent or buy, and we currently own or manage over 2,175 homes in West Somerset, Taunton Deane, Sedgemoor, North Devon, and Mid-Devon districts.
We also work very closely with our tenants and residents in their communities, and aim to provide high quality services tailored, where possible, to their local needs.
We provide an number of additional services to the community in specific areas, such as domestic abuse support, community lifeline, gardener and handyman, meals on wheels, and community support services.
