Who says working for Magna is a boar?!

Magna West Somerset staff had an unexpected visitor to their Williton office on Thursday 6th August.

A huge pig! He just wandered into reception (thanks to the automatic doors) and frightened Sue, our receptionist, half to death, “All I saw when he came in was this huge beast with brown fur and black spots, I actually thought it was a leopard at first!’

Luckily, highly skilled members of staff, Kim Mason and Lynne Smith, were on hand to help corral the pig along with two residents from St Peter’s Close and two burly Policemen from Williton Police station.

Eventually, the Gloucester Old Spot, was cornered and entertained by the posse until the owners of the farm were contacted and arrived to make sure he was safely back in his sty.

Sue added, “I thought he was someone coming in to use the computer we have in reception for tenants or to pick up some information on swine flu. Only in West Somerset!”
